art book cologne, founded by Bernd Detsch in 1997, is a wholesale company and specializes in buying and selling high quality publications in art, art theory, architecture, design, photography, illustrated cultural history and all related subjects internationally. Following the first book Small Portfolio (Simonett & Baer 2021), the Berlin architects Mensing Timofticiuc have now published a slim but very fine book on Haus Heiligensee in Berlin.
The house, which looks like a monolith and almost like a foreign body in the neighbourhood, has iconic features. It was photographed by the well-known Zumthor houses photographer Hélène Binet. The pictures captivate with their incredible sharpness and colourfulness.
With a text by Marius Mensing and Anca Timofticiuc, printed by Robstolk Amsterdam.
