art book cologne, founded by Bernd Detsch in 1997, is a wholesale company and specializes in buying and selling high quality publications in art, art theory, architecture, design, photography, illustrated cultural history and all related subjects internationally. Our team includes specialists in art, culture, music, book trade and media but in spite of our diversity we have one common ground: the enthusiasm for unique art books.
We purchase remaining stocks from museums, publishers and art institutions. We sell these remainders to bookstores, museum shops, and art dealers all over the world.

For the past four years photographer Landon Nordeman (born 1974) has been regularly dispatched by New York Magazine and The New York Times to document the world of fashion.
Shooting hundreds of shows backstage in New York, Milan and Paris, Nordeman brings a fresh, joyous and bold perspective to contemporary photography. In the over-photographed digital culture of fashion today, Nordeman's approach cuts through the clutter. He sees photographs where most people don't, and he has gained an enormous following on Instagram for his surprising images, filled with vivid color, complex gestures and funny juxtapositions. Finding the enduring in the ephemeral, Nordeman blurs the line between reality and fiction, document and art, and shows the exclusive world of fashion to itself and to us as never before.
Nordeman's photographs have been exhibited at Howard Greenberg Gallery in New York and the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, among other venues, and are in the collections of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Columbus Museum of Art. He lives and works in New York City.
