art book cologne, founded by Bernd Detsch in 1997, is a wholesale company and specializes in buying and selling high quality publications in art, art theory, architecture, design, photography, illustrated cultural history and all related subjects internationally. Our team includes specialists in art, culture, music, book trade and media but in spite of our diversity we have one common ground: the enthusiasm for unique art books.
We purchase remaining stocks from museums, publishers and art institutions. We sell these remainders to bookstores, museum shops, and art dealers all over the world.

The book Industrial Photography from the collection of the MAST Foundation 2013-2014 covers all the items displayed in the first four exhibitions, staged between 2013 and 2014, in the MAST exhibition area in Bologna.
The exhibitions were entitled: Industrial Worlds 2013; Industrial Worlds
2014; Human capital in industry and included photographs owned by the MAST Foundation. The fourth exhibition, The Factory Photographs, presented 111 photographs, some from the foundation’s own collection, by film-maker David Lynch. As well as an introduction by Isabella Seragnoli, the book comprises the essay Photography and Industry by the curator of the MAST collection, Urs Stahel, and two special contributions about an exhibition of David Lynch’s photographs by Petra Giloy-Hirtz and Gian Luca Farinelli.
The works reproduced in the book include many masterpieces, from the series of rayograms from Man Ray’s Electricité portfolio to images by André
Kértes, August Renger-Patzsch, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Lewis Hine,
and others by Sebastião Salgado, Thomas Struth, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Margaret Bourke-White, Bill Brandt, Robert Doisneau, Walker Evans, Harry Gruyaert, Toshio Shibata, Simon Norfolk, Lee Friedlander, Peter Keetman, Timm Rautert and Walter Vogel.
