art book cologne, founded by Bernd Detsch in 1997, is a wholesale company and specializes in buying and selling high quality publications in art, art theory, architecture, design, photography, illustrated cultural history and all related subjects internationally. Heinz Mack not only made art history as one of the founding members of the Düsseldorf-based ZERO group in 1957, he is still active today as a painter and sculptor.
The catalogue, which is published on the occasion of his solo exhibition at the Waldfrieden Sculpture Park in Wuppertal, focuses specifically on his sculptural work. In numerous installation shots in the interior and exterior of the impressive park, Mack’s sculptures enter into exciting connections with surrounding architecture and nature.
