art book cologne, founded by Bernd Detsch in 1997, is a wholesale company and specializes in buying and selling high quality publications in art, art theory, architecture, design, photography, illustrated cultural history and all related subjects internationally. Summer 2015, I went with a colleague to PYRAMIDEN 78°39′N, 16°20′O the northernmost colemine worldwide on Spitsbergen. On the long marches and in the permafrost of the tunnels, the idea for a special artist photo book was born.
