art book cologne, founded by Bernd Detsch in 1997, is a wholesale company and specializes in buying and selling high quality publications in art, art theory, architecture, design, photography, illustrated cultural history and all related subjects internationally. Our team includes specialists in art, culture, music, book trade and media but in spite of our diversity we have one common ground: the enthusiasm for unique art books.
We purchase remaining stocks from museums, publishers and art institutions. We sell these remainders to bookstores, museum shops, and art dealers all over the world.

Since its founding in 1947 by Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger, and David Chim Seymour, Magnum Photos, the legendary co-operative has powerfully chronicled the peoples, cultures, events, and issues of the time.
Each of the sixteen notecards in this collection features a unique, iconic street scene from a Magnum photographer. The photographs include Cornell Capa’s portrait of an off-guard Alec Guinness, Chris Steele-Perkins’ image of a street festival in 1970s Camden and Trent Parke’s unforgettable picture of emus running amok in a caravan park.
